POS Hold System

When you provide your phone number to place furniture or merchandise on hold at our ReStore, you agree to receive the following text messages:

• Hold Confirmation: A text confirming your items are on hold, including the pickup deadline and receipt number.
• Pickup Reminder: A friendly reminder the day before your hold expires.
• Past Due Notice: If your pickup date has passed, a reminder that items may be returned to the sales floor.
• Pickup Confirmation: A thank you message when you pick up your items.

You will receive approximately 2-4 messages per hold. Message frequency depends on hold duration.

Donation Receipts

When you provide your phone number to receive a donation receipt via text message, you agree to receive:

• Donation Receipt: A text message confirming your donation with details for your tax records.
• Occasional Updates: Information about our mission, special donation drives, or volunteer opportunities (no more than 2 per month).

You may opt for email receipt instead if you prefer not to receive text messages.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Opting Out

You can opt out of text messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any message
• Contacting us at the numbers below
• Requesting email communication instead

Note: Opting out of hold reminders means you will not receive pickup deadline notifications.

Privacy

Your phone number is used solely for the purposes described above. We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number to third parties. Your information is stored securely and used only for ReStore operations and Habitat for Humanity communications.
